About Us

Mission VFD has been committed to serving its community since 1935, when a group of dedicated volunteers came together to ensure the safety of their community. Today, Mission VFD continues to protect and serve the community through firefighting, extrication, rescue, and scene clean up. Made up of volunteers from Mission and surrounding areas, these dedicated individuals sacrifice time and safety to keep their community safe. Their service extends beyond the borders of Mission, as they also assist Todd County, Mellette County, and Cherry County.
